• The day my ex came back… was the same day I realized happiness can be tested in the most unexpected ways.

I didn’t plan for that day to be special.
It was just a normal afternoon.

The kind of afternoon where the house smells like stew, the fan is humming lazily, and your children are playing somewhere in the corner, talking to themselves like they own the world.

I was in the kitchen, stirring, when I heard the knock.
Not loud. Not urgent. Just… intentional.

I wiped my hands on my wrapper and walked to the door.

If I had known who was standing there… maybe I would have taken a moment longer.
Maybe I would have prepared my heart.

    I opened the door.
    And everything inside me froze.
    He looked almost the same.

Maybe a little older. A little quieter.
But those eyes… I knew them instantly.

    “Hi…” he said.
    Just that one word.
    Like no time had passed.

Like he didn’t disappear from my life without warning.
Like he didn’t leave me to pick up the pieces of a broken version of myself.

I couldn’t speak. My throat tightened.
My fingers gripped the door harder than necessary.

“What are you doing here?” I finally managed to say.
My voice didn’t sound like mine.

    He exhaled slowly.
    “I’ve been looking for you.”
My heart did something I didn’t expect.

    It moved.
Not in love. Not in longing.
    But in memory.

    “I’m married,” I said quickly.
Like I needed to remind both of us.
    “I know,” he replied.

    That confused me.
“Then why are you here?” I asked.
    He didn’t answer immediately.

    He just looked at me.
    Not boldly. Not shamelessly.
    Just… carefully.

“I owe you an explanation,” he said.
I laughed. A short, dry laugh.

“An explanation? After all these years?”
    He nodded.
    “I know I’m late.”

    Late? Late?
“You disappeared,” I said, my voice rising before I could control it.

“You left without a word. No call. No message. Nothing.”
My chest was rising and falling faster now.

“Do you know what that did to me?”
    “I do,” he said quietly.

    “No… you don’t,” I shook my head.
“Because if you did, you wouldn’t be standing here like this… asking for a conversation.”

    He swallowed.
And for the first time… I saw something in his eyes. Regret.

“I didn’t come to disrupt your life,” he said softly. “I just… couldn’t keep quiet anymore.”

Something about that sentence made my stomach tighten. “Say what you came to say,” I said, folding my arms, trying to hold myself together.

Because I didn’t like what I was feeling.
I didn’t like that my past was standing at my door… breathing.

    He looked down briefly.
    Then back at me.
“That day I left…” he started.
“I didn’t leave because I stopped loving you.”

My heart skipped. I hated that it did.
“I left because I had no choice,” he continued.

    I frowned.
    “What does that even mean?”
He opened his mouth to speak, But just then…

    I heard the gate open.
    My husband.
    His footsteps were familiar.

    Steady. Certain. Safe.
The kind of footsteps that had become my peace.

    My breath caught.
    My ex heard it too.
    He turned slightly.

    Then looked back at me.
And in that moment… everything collided.
My past at the door. My present walking in.

“Who is that?” my husband’s voice came from behind. Calm… but curious.

    I couldn’t move. I couldn’t think.
I couldn’t even form the words that suddenly felt too heavy in my mouth.

    My ex didn’t speak.
    My husband was getting closer.
    Closer. Closer.

And then… my ex said quietly, almost like a confession:
“I think he deserves to hear this too.”

My heart dropped. I turned sharply.
“No... ” But it was too late.
My husband was already standing beside me.

Looking at him. Then at me.
    And in that one moment…
    I realized something terrifying.

    Not every past stays buried.
Some come back… at the exact moment you finally feel safe.

    And the worst part?
I wasn’t sure which truth was about to break my home…

    The one I knew…
or the one I was about to hear.

  • A relationship is not just about emotions, it is a serious decision that affects your future, your faith, and your testimony. God designed parents and spiritual leaders to guide young believers with wisdom and protection. Seeking their counsel shows humility, respect, and a desire to follow God’s will.

Most importantly, every relationship must have God’s approval. When Christ is at the center, a relationship becomes a blessing and not a distraction from your calling. Waiting for the right time and the right guidance helps build a relationship that honors God and leads to a strong, godly future.

    Ephesians 6:1
“Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.”

    Proverbs 3:5–6
“Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

  • There is this Strange voice that’s always screaming in the Forbidden Hospital Ward every Midnight, we were all warnéd never to open it, but I finally opened it!!.

As I opened it, I didn’t see anyone inside, but I just heard a Voice saying “Haaaa, I’m finally outside.” The voice did not sound like a person anymore. It sounded like a thousand angry spirits talking at once.

I ran out of that Ward 14, and went secretly to my office. The lights were off for some moments. I sat in the dark, trying to hide my shaking hands. "Please, let it be a dream," I prayed, but the heavy rusted key in my pocket was very real.

Dr Anthony, the Dòctor that I took the keys from to open that Ward, came to that Ward 14, saw that it was open, he ran out and was panting,

“Who opened the Ward finally?, you have destroyed us!!!!, Jesus Christ!!!” He was sweating

There was Commotion everywhere in that large Hospital. I was also pretending to be shocked, but I was scared within me, Why should I do such?. People were bumping into each other and machines were making loud beeping noises. "Doctor, what is happening?" a patient asked me, but I could not even find my voice to answer him.

The Patients that were in the hospital had to run for their lives to another Hospital. Mothers were carrying their children and running out into the street without their shoes. "Run! Don't look back!" a security guard yelled. The hospital was becoming a ghost house in just a few minutes.

As we were planning to check the CCTV to fish out the person, it went off and a Strange Voice alone was heard,
"You cannot watch me," the voice boomed through every speaker in the building. "I am everywhere now."

”For 8 years, you thought you could caged me in this Ward, You thought you could cage Jùstice, Well, I’m here to let you know that I’m finally out for Revenge and exactly what you did to me, that’s what I’ll do to you all.” The voice laughed. "The blood on your hands will never dry," the voice whispered, making Dr. Anthony fall to his knees in terror.

I went to ask those who had been in the Hospital to narrate what happened to that Woman. I found an old cleaner hiding in the laundry room. "Tell me the truth about Ward 14," I demanded. He looked at me with crying eyes and said, "It was a crime, Doctor. A terrible crime against a mother who only wanted her children to live."

They said A Rích Man paid The Doctors huge sum of Mòney to kiIII her and the unborn Twins inside her, because she’s a Side chic, and the Rích Man doesn’t want anything to spoil his own Marriage, whereas he’s the one responsible for that Pregnancy. "They didn't just kiIII her," the cleaner whispered. "They locked her soul in that room so no one could never tell the world”

I went home and placed my hand on my head, sweating. I wanted to even chat my Family members so they could see the matter on ground, but I decided to pause a Little for now. My phone felt heavy in my hand. "If I tell them, the ghost might come for me too," I thought.

What’s going to be the next Move in that Hospital?

What if they finds out that I’m the one who opened that Door?

  • The news of the abduction of innocent UTME candidates in Benue State is not just heartbreaking but a damning indictment of the failure of leadership and the collapse of security in our nation.

Young Nigerians striving for an education are being met with terror. In a country where the share of tertiary graduates is already painfully low (about 1%) which is far below peers like Indonesia (about 13%) and South Africa (around 10%). This is unacceptable. We cannot afford to lose even one more student to violence.

Those entrusted with protecting these young students appear increasingly preoccupied with the next election, projecting strength and power to rig elections, rather than deploying that same power and agencies to secure our roads, prevent these crimes, and rescue the abducted children who should not be in the hands of criminals but in examination halls.

This is no longer an isolated tragedy. It is a pattern. It is a national crisis. And it demands urgent, decisive, and responsible action, not excuses, not silence, but leadership that matches the scale of the emergency this deserves.

A nation that abandons its youth abandons its future. This cannot continue.

    A New Nigeria is POssible.

  • Rooftop romance wahala ,
On a hot afternoon in the neighborhood, people were minding their business—children playing football, women gisting, and one old man monitoring everybody like CCTV.
Suddenly, from the top of a zinc roof, strange noises started coming.
“Ehen? Wetin dey happen for there?” one woman whispered, adjusting her wrapper.
Unknown to them, Ngozi and her husband Emeka had climbed inside the small space under the roof to “have privacy”… because according to Ngozi, “romance is sweeter when breeze is blowing from all angles.”
Inside that tight, hot, dusty roof space, Emeka was already regretting his life choices.
“Ngozi… this place hot o… I dey sweat like generator,” he complained.
Ngozi, not even bothered, said dramatically: “Emeka, if this marriage must continue, you must be coming here every day… ANYTIME!”
    Emeka froze.
“Every day?? Inside THIS roof?? Ngozi, are we geckos??
    Before she could answer, KPAAAAM!
    The old weak plank shifted.
    Both of them paused.
From outside, the old man looked up and shouted: “Who dey fight for my roof?!”
    Children gathered immediately.
    “Uncle, na thieves?”
    “No, na witches!”
    “No, na cat!”
Inside the roof, Emeka whispered: “You see your romance? We don turn community project.”
Ngozi still insisted: “I don’t care! This place has… vibes.”
At that moment, dust entered Emeka’s nose.
    “Ah-CHOOOO!!”
The sneeze was so loud that everybody outside shouted: “IT’S HUMAN BEING!!!
    Next thing—neighbors brought ladder.
As Emeka peeped through the hole and saw the crowd, his soul left his body.
“Ngozi… if we come down now, I go relocate go Ghana.”
Ngozi adjusted her hair calmly: “Just come down with confidence.”
Emeka replied: “Confidence ke? In boxers?? In front of Mama Chidinma?? My life don finish!”
    Finally, they climbed down.
    Silence.
    Everybody stared.
The old man cleared his throat: “So… na romance you people dey do for my roof?”
One small boy shouted: “Aunty say na everyday she go dey come here o!”
The whole street BURST into laughter
Emeka just looked at Ngozi like: “This marriage don turn reality show.”
Ngozi smiled proudly and said: “Love is sacrifice.”
Emeka nodded slowly: “Yes… and today, na my dignity be the sacrifice.”
    Lessons:
Not every “romantic idea” is practical in real life
Privacy is important—but not inside someone’s roof!
Before making relationship rules, check if your partner will survive it
Neighbors will always mind your business… even when you think they won’t

This place has… vibes.” At that moment, dust entered Emeka’s nose. “Ah-CHOOOO!!” The sneeze was so loud that everybody outside shouted: “IT’S HUMAN BEING!!! 😱” Next thing—neighbors brought ladder. As Emeka peeped through the hole and saw the crowd, his soul left his body. “Ngozi… if we come down now, I go relocate go Ghana.” Ngozi adjusted her hair calmly: “Just come down with confidence.” Emeka replied: “Confidence ke? In boxers?? In front of Mama Chidinma?? My life don finish!” Finally, they climbed down. Silence. Everybody stared. The old man cleared his throat: “So… na romance you people dey do for my roof?” One small boy shouted: “Aunty say na everyday she go dey come here o!” The whole street BURST into laughter 😂😂😂 Emeka just looked at Ngozi like: “This marriage don turn reality show.” Ngozi smiled proudly and said: “Love is sacrifice.” Emeka nodded slowly: “Yes… and today, na my dignity be the sacrifice.” Lessons: Not every “romantic idea” is practical in real life 😂 Privacy is important—but not inside someone’s roof! Before making relationship rules, check if your partner will survive it 😅 Neighbors will always mind your business… even when you think they won’t

  • To think I had attempted suic.ide before in my life still leaves me speechless!
Yes, it seems that was the best decision for me then, cos why must I live in misery?

There was a time in my life things went south. I lost my job, my husband was transferred to a place far from home with no much income, my children were always sick, my shop was under attack, I made several losses on a daily basis or every other day.

These because worst with each passing day, I do pray every day and most times I do pray 2_3hours at midnight just for things to change but to no avail.

On this particular day, I was planning to travel to the village with my family. We had packed everything we needed except the things we needed to gift my parents and other well wishers in the village.
I was in the shop attending to customers while my husband went buy the gift items.
My phone rang and it was my husband calling, he asked whom I made a transaction of declined #20k to, I told him I did for one man who just left. He said I should look for the man immediately.
I checked my history the POS machine and I discovered I had deducted #2k from his account instead of #20k.
    Everywhere first blurr....
    What?.... Tobe continued....

  • This is the situation of some wives.

She looks like MONEY, but her house is crying.

Madam is wearing the latest Ankara, Turkey wear, lace, Aso-oke, stepping out like a queen.

    But go inside her house,
    Clothes everywhere.
    Kitchen looking abandoned.
    Children looking unkempt.
You will think the children are from another home.

Who are you trying to impress?
Your children should not look like beggars while you are dressed like a billionaire.
Your home should not be suffering while your wardrobe is shining.

There is nothing wrong with looking good.
But wisdom is knowing what to fix first.
    Fix your home.
    Fix your children.
Then wear your luxury in peace.
Because no matter how expensive your outfit is.

Your house and your children will expose the truth
