First I'm confused,
I feel like what I asked for, You refused.
I wait for answers to prayers and because they don't come the way I expect,
I begin to grumble, to talk to You with no respect.
But then I sit and count my blessings, one, two, three, four and five,
I find out all the miracles, the wonders, all You did to make me survive.
I switch from complaint, to gratitude,
It all makes sense now, all my unexplainable attitude,
All the weird feeling and people leaving,
It was You clearing out bad things even when I wasn't believing.
I sit, staring at the sky and begin to laugh, knowing I was a great fool,
A little patience and I'd have seen how intentional You are for me and so I become grateful.
