Stealing, Robbery, and Armed Robbery are NOT the same,but all can land you in prison.
Many people joke with this until they enter real trouble.
1. Stêaling:
You quietly take what does not belong to you. No force, no confrontation.
You just “carry and go.”
The punishment for stêáling is 3 years and above, depending on what you stole.
2. Röbbery:
You take it with force or threat.
The person knows you are taking it, and they are afraid.
Punishment can be many years imprisonment, often up to 21 years or even life depending on the circumstances.
3. Armed R0bbery:
Now you add weapon.
Gun, knife, anything dangerous.
At this point, the law is no longer smiling.
