• HEZEKIAH’S PRAYER: WHEN FAITH TURNS A DEAD END INTO A NEW BEGINNING

“I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you.” — 2 Kings 20:5

Hezekiah’s story is one of the most powerful reminders that God responds to sincere, desperate prayer. King Hezekiah fell critically ill, and the prophet Isaiah came with a heavy message: set your house in order, for you shall die and not live. It was a final word—no hope, no negotiation. But instead of accepting defeat, Hezekiah turned his face to the wall and prayed. He didn’t pray a long, complicated prayer; he poured out his heart with tears, reminding God of his faithfulness and devotion. In that quiet, broken moment, heaven listened.

Before Isaiah had even left the courtyard, God interrupted the verdict. The same prophet returned with a new message: God had heard the prayer and seen the tears. Healing was released, and fifteen more years were added to Hezekiah’s life. What was pronounced as an ending became a new beginning. This moment reveals something deep—God is not distant from our pain. He sees, He hears, and He responds when we call on Him with sincerity.

Hezekiah’s prayer teaches us that no situation is too final for God to reverse. Even when life gives you a “death sentence”—whether it’s failure, loss, sickness, or hopelessness—prayer can shift the outcome. God is moved not by perfect words, but by a genuine heart. Tears are not weakness in the presence of God; they are a language He understands deeply.

This story calls us to trust God beyond what we see and hear. When circumstances speak defeat, prayer invites divine intervention. Hezekiah didn’t run to people—he ran to God. And in that place of surrender, God showed His power. Your situation today may feel sealed, but if you bring it before God with faith, He can still rewrite your story. What looks finished can be restored, extended, and renewed by His mercy.

  • Around 2AM Midnight, I heard a very strange Cry from a Forbidden Hospital Ward, the person was shouting “Please, Help me!”

I stood in the dark hallway and whispered to myself, "Is there really someone alive in there, or am I losing my mind?"

All The medical personnel have been warned never to open this Strange Ward in that Hospital.

The Head Nurse had told me earlier that evening, "Doctor, if you hear anything, just put on your headphones. That room is cursed, and we don't talk about it." I nodded, but for a long while now, I could not stop thinking about why a hospital would have a room that nobody is allowed to enter.

So being my first time doing a Night duty, I heard a shout in that room, I didn’t even know this is how it happens every Midnight. I’ve been assigned for a 2 weeks Night duty in the Hospital.

the next Midnight again, the same Midnight again, I heard that same cry, but this time, I took that courage to reply “Who are you?, are you okay in there?” I walked close to the rusty door and put my ear against the cold metal. My heart was pounding like a drum as I waited for an answer.

The strange voice replied me, it was a woman’s Boice, “please save me and my bàby, help us!!” Her voice was thin and weak, like she had been crying for years. I felt a cold chill run down my back. "A baby? There is a child in there too?" I whispered in shock.

“Bùt I can’t help you because I don’t have the key to this door, and also, I’ve been warned never to open this door” I said, looking at the heavy padlock. I felt so helpless and scared; If I open this, they will fire me, or something worse might happen," I told the door, but the woman started to sob even harder.

“Please they Unjustly placed me inside here, the key is in the Cabinet in the Executive Director ’s Office, Dr. Anthony’s Office” the voice said. I jumped back in surprise. "How do you know Dr. Anthony?" I asked, but the voice only whispered, "He knows what he did. Please, the key is under the blue folder. Hurry before they come back."

I left that Ward immediately, because I also noticed some of my Colleagues were coming towards the direction.

I pretended to be checking a chart as Nurse Grace walked by. "Everything okay, Doctor? You look like you've seen a ghost," she said with a suspicious look on her face. I just nodded and said, "Yes, just a long night," and walked away as fast as I could.

I didn’t go to The Anthony’s office to get that Key, his office was even locked that night.

I went home after the Duty that night, Another thoughts and fears again. I sat in my kitchen, staring at my hands which were still shaking. My mind was racing with questions that had no easy answers.

How did that voice know Where the Key to the Door is?

Why will they unjustly place the Woman and her bàby in that Ward?

My Love, as we start this New Story, let’s Iike the Story, please, please , I don’t coIIect anything from anyone, it’s just the Éngagement and Iikes that encourage me

  • There is this Strange Hospital Ward that They warned us never to enter, But I heard a strange Voice in the Room that Midnight crying “Please, Help me!!”

Ever since I got employed in the Hospital as a Doctor, they always warn us there is a Special Room, Ward 14, NO BODY SHOULD ENTER THERE. My senior consultant, Dr. Aris, gripped my shoulder on my first day and whispered, "Forget that Ward 14 even exists. If you value your job and your peace of mind, stay away from that door."

As a matter of fact, they placed a Warning at the Door of that room, that no one is permitted to Enter. It was also Locked as well. The sign was bright red, and the heavy iron padlock looked like it had not been touched in years. "Why is it locked from the outside so tightly?" I asked the security guard once, but he just shook his head and said, "Some doors are closed for a reason, Doc. Don't go looking for trouble."

So that Night, I was duty, Normally, I don’t do Night duty, But I was assigned for 2 weeks, because the Doctor has been sent for another Mission. The hallway was dark and the air felt very cold. "It’s just a long shift, stay focused," I told myself, clutching my clipboard as the lights flickered above me.

As I was patrolling the Ward, trying to attend to a Patient, I heard some strange Voices in that Same Forbidden room. I froze in the middle of the hallway. The sound was coming from behind the heavy wood of Ward 14. "Is someone there?" I whispered, but my heart started beating very fast in my chest.

The voice was shouting “Help me Please!!, help me, Save me!” It sounded like a young woman, her voice shaking with pain and fear. "Please, I can't breathe! Open the door!" she screamed, and I could hear her fingernails scratching against the inside of the door.

I just ran out of that place, And I went to the other Nurses to narrate my Experience, My legs were trembling and I was out of breath when I reached the nursing station. "There is someone trapped in Ward 14! We need to find the key right now!" I yelled at the two nurses sitting there.

They Looked at and smiled, "Is this your first time hearing that Sound?, we also do hear it as well for months, but we have never opened it!, just ignore and Walk away" Nurse Mary said as she calmly sipped her tea.

"But she is dying in there!" I cried out, but the other nurse just sighed and replied, "Nobody is in there, Doctor. At least, nobody living. Just do your work."

I went home the next Morning, Wíth thoughts on my head, I couldn't eat or sleep. I have no wife, so I live alone.

“So is this what happens every Midnight in that Hospital?

Who’s crying inside that strange Ward?

  • GOD SEES YOU IN THE WILDERNESS

Genesis 16:13 — “You are the God who sees me.”

In the wilderness, where hope feels dry and strength begins to fail, we find the powerful story of Hagar—a woman abandoned, exhausted, and overwhelmed by fear. Cast out into the desert with her son, she reached a point where she could no longer go on. The pain was too heavy, the future too uncertain, and the situation too hopeless. Yet, it was in that very place of desperation that God showed up.

Hagar did not cry out in a temple or a place of comfort—she cried out in the wilderness. And that is what makes this story so powerful. God is not limited to sacred spaces; He meets us right where we are, even in our lowest, driest seasons. When Hagar felt unseen, unheard, and forgotten, God called to her from heaven and revealed Himself as El Roi—the God who sees.

This truth is deeply personal: God sees your struggles. He sees the silent tears, the battles you don’t talk about, and the moments when you feel like giving up. Just like Hagar, you may feel isolated or pushed aside, but heaven has not lost sight of you. God’s eyes are on you, even when the world turns away.

What’s even more powerful is that God didn’t just see Hagar—He provided for her. He opened her eyes to a well of water that had always been there. In the same way, God has already made provision for your situation. Sometimes, in our pain, we can’t see it—but that doesn’t mean it’s not there. God will open your eyes at the right moment.

  • Title: “The Boy Who Sat by the Window”

The rain poured softly against the classroom windows, creating a calm rhythm that almost lulled everyone to sleep—except me.

I sat at the back, watching him.

    The boy by the window.

He always sat there, earphones in, eyes distant, like he belonged somewhere else. No one talked to him. No one dared to. There was something about him—mysterious, quiet… untouchable.

“Why do you keep staring?” my friend whispered, nudging me.

“I’m not,” I lied, quickly looking away.

But the truth was, I couldn’t help it.

Every day, I found myself wondering what kind of world he lived in. What songs he listened to. Why his eyes looked so… sad.

    Then one afternoon, everything changed.

Our teacher suddenly announced, “You’ll be working in pairs for your project.”

    My heart dropped.

Names were called one by one, until—

    “Y/N, you’ll be paired with… Ethan.”

    The room went silent.

    Slowly, I turned my head.

And for the first time… the boy by the window looked at me.

  • Someone called me with an unknown number. I wanted to tell him it was a wrong number, but he called me “Stephen,” saying I was his brother and that he wanted to send me ₦35,000. The moment I heard ₦35k, I became less concerned about his identity.

Then the man said he didn’t want to send the money to my account. Instead, he told me to go to a POS shop and give the attendant the phone because he wanted to explain to her how he would send the money.

So I quickly ran to a nearby POS shop and asked the attendant how much it would cost to withdraw ₦35,000. She said ₦300. I then gave her the phone because the man was still on the line.

While they were talking, i noticed her pressing the POS machine. I thought maybe she was entering an account number or something—not knowing she was actually sending ₦35,000 to the caller 🥹

After the call and transaction, the lady told me she had sent the ₦35,000 I was shocked and said, “Sent what?”

To cut the story short, we tried calling the guy back, but his number was no longer reachable. When we checked Truecaller, his number was saved as “fool.

My question now is , who’s fit to bear the name(fool)?

Title : He Helped a Stranger… Then Something Strange Happened

In a small village, there lived a poor boy named Musa.
Musa had nothing… but a kind heart.
One evening, while returning from the farm, he saw an old woman sitting by the roadside. She looked weak, tired, and hungry.
    “Please… help me,” she whispered.
Musa had only one piece of bread—his only food for the night.
    He paused.
    He was hungry… very hungry.
But he looked at the woman again… and without thinking twice, he gave her the bread.
“Eat this, Mama,” he said gently.
    The old woman smiled.
But it wasn’t a normal smile.
Her eyes suddenly changed… glowing softly in the dark.
    Musa stepped back in fear.
“Do not be afraid,” she said.
Before his eyes… the old woman transformed into a beautiful, radiant being.
“I am not who you think I am,” she said. “I test the hearts of humans.”
    Musa was shocked.
“You gave me your last food… without expecting anything in return.”
She handed him a small clay pot.
“Take this,” she said. “Whenever you are hungry, open it.”
And just like that… she disappeared.
That night, Musa sat in his small hut, staring at the pot.
“Could this be real?” he wondered.
    Slowly… he opened it.
    Suddenly—
The pot filled with hot, delicious food!
Rice… meat… everything he could ever wish for!
    Musa couldn’t believe his eyes.
From that day on… he was never hungry again.
But one day… his greedy neighbor, Bello, noticed something strange.
“How is Musa eating well every day?” he wondered.
    So, he spied on him.
When Musa left the house… Bello sneaked in and stole the pot.
“Now I will be rich!” he laughed.
He rushed home and opened the pot.
    At first… nothing happened.
    Then suddenly—
SNAKES started coming out of the pot!
Bello screamed and ran for his life.
The next morning, the pot mysteriously returned to Musa.
And a soft voice echoed in his room:
“Kindness brings blessings… but greed brings destruction.”

Moral of the story: Do good from your heart… not because you want a reward.
